The White Hart Toby Carvery was officially reopened on Saturday 10th February by the Mayor of Colchester, Councillor Gerard Oxford, following an extensive remodel.
The White Hart Toby Carvery celebrated its local community commitments by inviting Mayor Oxford, to officially reopen the new look pub & restaurant, making him guest of honour at a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
Located on London Road in Stanway, the refreshed Toby Carvery resumed serving roasts to diners after an extensive two-week refurbishment. Following a significant investment in the restaurant 10 new jobs have been created for the local area.
Commenting on the restaurant’s new look, general manager, Christopher Lennox, said: “We’re so pleased at how brilliant refurbished the White Hart Toby Carvery looks. We were thrilled to have had the Mayor and Mayoress of Colchester cut the ceremonial ribbon for us. The day really was special for everyone.
“Gerard is such a passionate and caring person, and the work he does to help the area and its people is brilliant to see. Him and his wife are an integral part of the local community, we’re really pleased to have had them mark our special occasion.
“Following the big day, we’re also pleased to announce that we’ll be extending our local military discount, giving them up to 20% off when they come along and dine with us.
