The Essex based software development and data analytics-company is celebrating its 30th year in business from August 2017.
Objective IT specialises in creating bespoke software, databases and web and mobile apps, and provides a full suite of data insights and predictive analytics services.
The company, founded by Cathryn Fox in 1987, has been built on providing friendly expertise with a passion for creating innovative systems.
“The company’s by-line is ‘turning vision into success, which embodies every project we undertake.” comments Managing Director Cathryn Fox. “Working with companies across a spectrum of size and industry, the company’s offering is to effectively systemise business processes and deliver impactful data analytics.”
Objective IT became a Microsoft Partner in 1992 and in 1999, they became Microsoft’s first Gold Certified Partner in the UK for e-commerce, and second Partner world-wide. Fast forward through decades of success and awards and the company is accredited Microsoft Gold partners for Application Development and Application Integration.
Objective IT is proud of its corporate social responsibility statement, in which the company recognises its obligations to act responsibly, ethically and with integrity in its relations with staff, clients, the community and the environment as a whole.
In 2016, Objective IT aligned itself with the Essex Community Foundation to raise money for the local community in perpetuity. Cathryn recently set up The Honalee Fund, which aims to improve the lives of people in the Essex community who are affected by dyslexia or lung cancer.
Creating a fund with Essex Community Foundation celebrates the transition from a single person business to a successful software development and analytics company, and enables directors and staff to give something back to the community where they live and work.
To demonstrate the kind-heartedness of the company, directors and staff at Objective IT support local and country-wide charity events every year, partaking in ‘fun run’ races and hosting coffee mornings to raise funds for cancer charities.
Karen Harding, Marketing Manager at Objective IT, said: “A big part of Objective IT’s longevity is due to building long-term relationships with clients. We have customers that date back 10, 20 and some even 30 years.
Other elements include a team of skilled, loyal staff with a ‘can do’ attitude and a managing director at the helm who is passionate about driving the business forward.”
